14 December 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Sunday. 14th [December 1862]. Was very late and had breakfast up stairs. I went to Old Putney Church with the M. The others went to the New Ch: Henriette came whilst we were at luncheon. I did not go to church but stayed with Henriette till 4, then I went out walking with the M. We went down to the station to enquire about sending the letter to Mr Schr. Henriette agreed to stop the night. I played after dinner & H. came to talk to me when I went to bed. Anniversary of the death of the Prince Consort– | |
