18 December 1863 — Leeds Castle, Maidstone, Kent | |
Friday. 18th [December 1863]. Edith, Connie, Capt. Hayter & I rowed on the moat & sang. We left Leeds Castle at 4 oclock and went to stay at Linton. Arrived for 5 T. Had T & Helen Henniker sang. After dinner we danced and I was the principal player– Bed pretty early. | |
