9 March 1869 — Langham House, Portland Place | |
Tuesday. 9th March [1869]. We were married at St Georges Hanover Square and went down to Milton Court Dorking by train from Charing Cross. The place belongs to Mr Rate, an old school friend of Henrys & is an old Elizabethian house most quaint & picturesque. Mama gave a breakfast at Lang Hse to all the family & a few intimate friends. | |
