1 November 1869 — Aldermaston Court, Aldermaston, Berkshire | |
Monday. 1st November [1869]. Mrs Senior & Mr Cole left. The gentlemen went out shooting before luncheon. Mr Frank Buckland came. In afternoon we went to try & find the shooters. Mrs Burr & Miss Jekyll walked & I went with Sir Roderick in the carriage. We did not find them so we all drove home and I did not go out any more. One or 2 more people (neighbours) came to dine & sleep. | |
