15 December 1869 — Madrid | |
Wednesday. 15th [December 1869]. I went out shopping with Mrs Hunt to try & get stuff for curtains for the rooms. We asked the Hunts, Mr Ashburnham & Mr Ffrench to come up after dinner for a little music which they did. Mr Hunt has a splendid baritone voice & Mrs Hunt a high soprano. Mr Ffrench has also a baritone but was not well & did not sing. | |
