28 October 1871 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 28th [October 1871]. At 11 o’cl: the Bishop held a confirmation. I played the harmonium during the service; there were 5 confirmed & the Bp gave a very good address– I had a headache & was obliged to keep on the sofa the rest of the day but got a little better & was able to dine at table– Mr Ff. dined also. | |
