5 November 1871 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 5th November [1871]. I played the harmonium at church & it went pretty well. In the afternoon Henry & I took a drive & went to see the Riaños. Mr Ffrench went away to Biarritz. The Legation to dinner & then we went to the Montijos & took Clarita with us. Did not stay very late. | |
