Tuesday. 30th January [1872]. When they woke us in the morning they told us my brother Arthur had arrived. He came from Gibraltar on his way back to England from Egypt where he spent the winter: I went to see Eliz: in the afternoon. Henry went to Bouille’s. I stayed with Arthur. | |
