Sunday. 1st June [1873]. I woke with a headache so I kept on the sofa all day. Clarita came to see me also Bernadine & Mme Aylton & later Aurelie. Dressed for dinner, the Riaños &c dined– The Cortès was opened today. Henry went to see it, all went off quietly– | |
