4 July 1873 — Paris | |
Friday. 4th [July 1873]. We left Paris at 11.15. At Boulogne the Hambros met us they are staying there with their children. We had rather a rough crossing but I got a cabin to myself & was not ill. We got to London at ½ past 8. The M & S. met us. A good many people in the streets watching to see the Shah & the P. of Wales. Connie came to see me after dinner. | |
