Monday. 23rd [February 1874]. Breakfast in bed. Painted & had a visit from Mr Hamilton. At 3½ Henry & I drove out & took a walk in the Fuente. Mme Bernar & Marie called. We had 4 posts in today & I had a lot of letters. Not many people came in the evening—Canitz, Bauers, Mme Casa Torres & her sister & a few men– | |
