14 May 1874 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 14th [May 1874]. I painted all the morning & in the afternoon Mme Aylton & the 2 girls called also Maffei. The 2 Hamilton boys & Juanito Riaño came to tea. I went out driving with Henry & took a turn in the Retiro & came home & dressed, the Scobells & Hunts dined with us & in the eveng came Mirecki & Beck, Maffei & Pedrorena & Aurelie & we had music. | |
