21 September 1874 — Blackheath | |
Monday. 21st [September 1874]. We left Blackheath. I went up to town with Carnock having ordered a brougham to meet us at Charing X. Went to Cantt’s & got my jewelry & did other shopping before going on to L. House. Packed. The Charles Hambros dined with us—& promised to see us off tomorrow. | |
