Friday. 19th [March 1875]. Began painting my picture. Mme Canelaux called & sat with me while I painted & then Genl Beaumont & his wife called on us. Henry & I drove to the Retiro & walked thru but it was very cold. We went to the Fernan Nuñez last reception in the eveng. | |
