15 April 1875 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 15th [April 1875]. I began to paint a sketch of a green glass vase set in bronze wh was brought to offer to Henry. At 1 Emilia came with her work & sat with me. After tea she & I & Henry went out walking. We went to buy some ribbon & then took Emilia home & then came home ourselves. It was very hot all day & we did not go out till after 5. In the eveng we walked to Bauers. | |
