10 October 1875 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 10th [October 1875]. In the afternoon Henry & I took a walk & went first to call on the Comyns. Found Comyn very ailing & delicate. He went on to Forno’s hotel where we found the Saint Martins of Santander at home. Found the 2 ladies in & sat with them—then walked home. Ct Chaudordy, Weisweiller, M. d’Antas, Sr Monteverde & Genl Pavia dined with us. | |
