Wednesday. 3rd [November 1875]. Only went out for an hour in the afternoon to see Lady Walsham as I had promised to go today for the first time since her confinement & then came straight home. I bought a lovely Indian shawl wh the Mariana brought for sale & only gave £33 for it. | |
