11 November 1875 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 11th [November 1875]. Worked all the morning at cutting out satins for my applique work. Inzenga came but I did not take a lesson. At 3 went out driving with Ida Bauer & we went to see Lady Walsham. As we arrived at her door the King & Infanta passed on horseback. We stayed a long time with Lady W. & then walked down the Fuente & then home. The Riaños dined with us & I finished cutting out the satins. | |
