17 February 1876 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 17th [February 1876]. Painted all the morng. In afternoon drove out & met Henry in the Recolletos. I then went to pay my Thursday visit to Mme d’Antas & met there M. & Mme de Marval. In the eveng we had our music & Beck & Mirecki played the sonata of Rubinsteins & they brought Sr Urutia to play the violin & played a trio of Beethovens. | |
