Tuesday. 7th [March 1876]. Painted & had lesson of Esq: I & Nelly went to see Lady Walsham & found her sitting on the balcony with Ludolf. It was very fine. Julie her maid brought down the baby to show me as the English nurse Chipps was not well & in bed with what Lady Walsham thought was lumbago. | |
