8 May 1876 — Madrid | |
Monday. 8th May [1876]. Worked hard to finish the arms for the middle of the repostero. Nelly came to draw as usual & afterwards we took her out driving with us & we went to the Retiro & then kept her to dinner. In the afternoon I had visits from Mme Moret—& after Css Salm & then los Marquesas de Dos Hermanos. After dinner we went to the Bauers for a short time. | |
