Saturday. 27th [May 1876]. Left Genoa early & went to Baveno. Ed: Ponsonby met us on the pier when we landed. Blanche came to our room & we met for the first time since she married & for 2 years. I found her a good deal altered. We all dined at table d’hote at 6. | |
