Wednesday. 8th November [1876]. Rather better. Messenger went off to Eng: Went out with Henry damp day. Went to see the Bauers & told Ida about the English nursery maid. We agreed that she should come to me to ask her about it. Our boxes arrived from England. Finished the colgaduras—10 small ones & 2 larger. Weather wet & cold. | |
