Wednesday. 3rd October [1877]. Wrote hard all the morning to send letters by the messenger. At 3 o’clock we went on board the Helicon, Henry & I, Miss Boyd & Mr Kennedy & the Genl & started for Besika Bay. We stopped at Conple to take in provisions. Had a very fine passage. | |
