10 October 1877 — Therapia | |
Wednesday. 10th [October 1877]. While I was dressing I watched a ship coming down from the Black Sea wh I fancied must be the Red + ship & so it turned out. Mr Young & Dr Hope landed while we were at breakfast & Dr Leslie went down to town with them after having had a talk with me & telling me all abt poor Julian’s illness. Miss Boyd went down to town– I stayed at home & worked with the Parnis who came & at sunset I went fishing with Mr Smijth & the Genl brought Miss B. to us when she came from town– We had not very good sport. | |
