Tuesday. 22nd [January 1878]. Arthur & I had a long talk in the morng & he made up his mind to start for England tomorrow. In the afternoon Major de W. begged us to make some badges for the arms of his hamals who want a mark to distinguish them from others so we worked at them till dinner & again after dinner. | |
