Monday. 28th [January 1878]. Had the 1st Dorcas meeting under my Presidence—a whole roomfull of people. Gave them tea. Mrs W. Hanson came & worked & bid me good bye as she is going to England on Wednesday. Usual reception—no dancing. | |
