6 May 1878 — Therapia
Monday. 6th [May 1878]. It was fine at last tho’ cold. Capt. Stopford came in his boat to fetch me & took me on board the Salamis to see her and then we returned & walked in the garden till they called us & said the Adl was leaving. He took Henry to town. I sent Jerry with Capt. Stopford to get “fum fum” as he was naughty. Having a headache I laid down most of the day & dawdled abt in the garden. Henry returned late in the carriage. We dined with the Fourniers our kitchen fire being out of order.
