21 June 1878 — Therapia | |
Friday. 21st June [1878]. Took a turn after breakfast with Henry in the garden. Wrote for post. Sent by Capt. McCalmont a parcel of embroideries from the Women’s Working Society to Lady Burdett Coutts. After lunch went & sat in the grove with Henry. M. Onan called & later the 2 Mmes Caratheodory & Dr Patterson. We played tennis with Mr Kennedy & Mr Cartwright. Mr Ken: & Ash dined & Sandison. We had a tremendous thunderstorm in the evening. | |
