9 November 1878 — Therapia | |
Saturday. 9th November [1878]. May gave me a lesson in lace work & I made out patterns &c. Abt 1 Mrs Hy Hanson called having come in a steam launch & she invited May to go up to the Black Sea with them. They returned abt 3. Played lawn tennis. M. Montholon & DuMaine dined with us. Hobart P. came to stay till Monday. Very hot & S. wind. | |
