17 February 1879 — Constantinople | |
Monday. 17th [February 1879]. Sent Jerry off to Mr Curtis’ school & he is to sleep at the Willy Hanson’s. May also moved to Mrs Willy’s today. Mme Fournier called to say good bye– Visits also from the Fawcetts, Kosjeks, Dicksons, Thomas’, Mr Foster, Mr Wrench. Sir Geoffrey Hornby arrived to stay with us. Henry dined at table for the 1st time since his illness. | |
