27 February 1879 — En route to Trieste | |
Thursday. 27th [February 1879]. We had a dreadful tossing all night & so I did not attempt to get up but remained in bed & read & had my meals in my cabin lying down. By dinner time the movement became less & I was able to sit up to eat & Henry came & sat with me in the eveng. | |
