14 June 1879 — Therapia | |
Saturday. 14th [June 1879]. I remained in bed & sent for Dr Patterson. He said I had ophthalmia & ordered me to remain in the dark & in bed & there I remained till Wednesday when I got up on the sofa. Lady Dickson & Alice used to sit with me & read to me by a chink of light which they let in. The Hobarts dined here & came up to see me in the eveng. | |
