11 August 1879 — Therapia | |
Monday. 11th August [1879]. It was very hot & steamy all the morng. After lunch I went out & sat in the garden with Henry & Mlle Waldstrom who had come to fetch Eda when at abt 3 it came on suddenly to blow almost a hurricane & there was quite a whirlwind of dust so that we had to come indoors. Eda & Mlle Waldstrom returned to town abt 4. In the eveng we had our usual dance & a great many people came. | |
