Wednesday. 15th [October 1879]. Hobart P. & his wife & May Boyd came up to see us. Alice & I drove to Buyukdéré. Had a visit from the Mantillas. Henry went to see the Sultan in the afternoon. Capt. Sale, Capt. Swaine & Mr Oliphant dined with us. | |
