1 January 1880 — Constantinople | |
Thursday. 1st January 1880. Had my painting lesson wh took up all the morning. After lunch I went out in my chair to call on some of the ladies of the Dip. Corps & found most of them at home. Had a visit from the Hobarts. Henry went to see the Sultan in the Koelle affair. Had Jerry, Emily & Florence to school at 5.30. Dined alone. | |
