12 April 1880 — Constantinople | |
Monday. 12th [April 1880]. I was having a painting lesson in the morng when Adl. Sir Beauchamp Seymour, his flat lieut: Honbl Lambton & secy Mr Kirkness arrived. I had the model sitting to me so I finished my lesson & then went to receive our guests. In the afternoon I went out in the chair paying visits & Mrs Jolliffe walked out.
