11 June 1880 — Paris
Friday. 11th [June 1880]. Henry went off to see Ld Lyons. I remained in to see Mrs Goschen who leaves for Consple tonight. Afterwards B. Weisweiller came to see me & then Henry returned & we had luncheon. Afterwards he & I went out driving together. We went to a glass shop Rousseau in the Rue                to see some new fashioned glass—it was thick & heavy & we did not admire it much. We went on to call on Mme Weisweiller who was at home– We returned home & then I went in to Mme DuCroquets– When I returned to the hotel to walk out with Henry it was raining hard & we had to give it up. Had a long visit from Percy Ffrench whom we had not seen for ages. We dined with Lord Lyons & met only Mr Sheffield & Mr Lyon– Returned early.
