25 November 1880 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 25th [November 1880]. Henry effected the exchange of tapestry with Guggenheim. I had a lesson in pillow lace making in the morng so did not paint much. Mr Brown called to give me some help abt the book of Molmentis wh I am thinking of translating. We went to Murano in the afternoon to see the making of the murrhine cup—but as it took 2 hours to make it we cd not wait to see it finished & so came home. | |
