14 June 1885 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 14th [June 1885]. I took the Dicksons & Mr Kennedy to church in the morning. After lunch I took them to the Lido & we went to the Favorita to see Mrs Brown who has taken up her abode there for change of air. We walked from thence to the Lido baths—sat on the terrace over the sea, listened to the band, watched the bathers & took coffee. | |
