Friday. 26th [June 1885]. I finished copying rest of Henry’s new edition of Kügler. Miss Holas came to work. After lunch I painted till 6 when I had a visit from Countess Lützow & her fat daughter. They had both been ill & had called in Dr Kepler & then got worse & Css L. complained that her medicines made one grow so ugly & short & stupid!! After dinner we went to see Mrs Bronson & spent an hour with her. | |
