3 August 1885 — La Punta, Longarone | |
Monday. 3rd August [1885]. Tea in our room & started at 8 to drive to Zoldo. Mr Malcolm & Sir John in one little carriage, Henry & I in another. We had a lovely drive & fine weather. Sir John set to work to sketch. Henry & I took a walk. Mme Cercena gave us an excellent lunch & abt 4 we started back. I going with Sir John & Henry with Malcolm. We reached La Punta just as it was beginning to rain. | |
