Sunday. 12th December [1886]. Mr Bosanquet came & read the service. News of Minghetti’s death. We telegraphed to his widow. It is a great loss for her & for Italy. Took a walk to the Piazza. Went to see Mme Hurtado. M. & Mme Castellani called. | |
