9 April 1887 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset | |
Saturday. 9th [March 1887]. Maria & Richard & I went to see the meet at the Kennels, Merthyr going on the box. We followed the hounds some time in the carriage but there was no run & we finally came home by 3 & got some lunch. Sat in my room with Henry & Maria & read & worked & rested till dinner. Mr J. Ball came down on our invitation to stay. Luff arrived. Patience in the evening. Capt Philips came. | |
