Thursday. 14th April [1887]. I worked at translation of Morelli’s articles in German. I drove with Blanche. Left her at Lambeth to visit the poor & I went to Alice Murray’s to wait for her. She was out but I sat there & waited & wrote letters till she returned & gave me tea. Blanche called for me abt 5 & we went home. We dined at the Portuguese Minister & met Mr Gould, Mme Arco, M. & Mme Blumenthal &c. | |
