Friday. 16th [September 1887]. Wrote letters in the morning. Alice Murray—Arthur & his boy Rhuvon who is just home from the W. Indies on leave & Sir F. Burton came to lunch. Alice & I went out shopping together. We dined with Alice & Hallam & met Lady Winifred Biddulph there. | |
