25 October 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 25th [October 1887]. Wet day & no going out. Mrs Burr came to tea & it cleared. Kate & I got her to take us as far as Css Pisani’s where she left us to pay a visit. We found the Css at home & had a nice chat with her getting back on foot just in time for dinner. | |
