25 December 1887 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. [25th December 1887]. Christmas Day. Henry, Ola & I went to service at the Grand Hotel. In afternoon I went again & we sang some Christmas Carols after the service. Our Christmas party at dinner consisted of Lady Galway, Mr Malcolm, Mrs Brown & Mr Brown, Mr Wood RA, Mr & Mrs DuGué. | |
