13 March 1888 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 13th [March 1888]. Fine day. At 11 I went to Mme Mimaut & got her to give me a guitar lesson. I sent for Audrey Trevelyan who came & we played together & she stayed to luncheon. After luncheon Henry & I went to Edens garden & took a walk & got some flowers. Idita Hurtado came to tea & sat talking till near dinner time. Had Mr Brown & Mrs Brown, Mr W. Bartlett the artist & Marzials to dinner. | |
