Fred & Rayd went out on fjord & then to meet the steamer by which Leo at length arrived having been 60 hours in a fog & having had to land at Aalesunde & sleep there. We were just going to lunch when he came. Afterwards walked down to the Bridge with Fred, Leo & Rayd & had a few casts for salmon 0. Dined at 5. Henry went to Kirkpool & brought home a 14 lb salmon. Fred went to Up. Gredhus & I to my old post on the bridge. I was turning to look at Fred fishing when I had a fish myself. Thorwald saw it & rowing Fred to shore came to my assistance. I got into the boat twice & twice got out & after battling an hour & going down to the rivers mouth we landed a 29 lb salmon. Fred got nothing. Rayd got a cod & a trout. Leo who went out with the Marquis got 0. | |
